About

On the largest scales, the Universe is strikingly simple, nearly the same everywhere and in every direction, which lets us describe it with mathematical and statistical tools built upon a few physical principles.

I explore the origin, evolution, and nature of the Universe through minimal models.

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Astronomy & Astrophysics group at the Raman Research Institute, Bengaluru. I did my PhD at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali. Before that, I was at Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, where I went to school at Patha Bhavana and completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Siksha Bhavana.
